Intimate Backyard Wedding in the St. Croix river valley // Arianna + Ian // Osceola, Wisconsin

Wow, what an incredibly beautiful day.

This day was far from anything that I’m used to doing, but it was honestly so much fun and I loved every moment! The whole day was relaxed, go with the flow and centered around the love these two have for each other and their families. This is exactly why I love intimate weddings and elopements.
They decided to get married at Arianna’s parents property right here in Osceola Wisconsin. A place Arianna has dreamed about getting married since she was little, seeing the light spilling through the trees into the spot the ceremony would be held. Arianna’s father even took the time to mow out the perfect little path leading to the ceremony spot. This land was the perfect place for these two kind souls to say their “I do’s”. T weather could not have been more perfect, it was one of the only sunny days that month. God definitely had his hand over them as they became one! Since it was a more intimate wedding, there was only about 30 people in attendance to the ceremony which meant they got to greet and get pictures with everyone who is most important to them.

After the ceremony, which was very touching and beautiful, we all went to the for lunch at Dalles Restaurant & Lounge in St. Croix Falls. There we got to mingle and enjoy the company of the friends & family closest to Arianna & Ian. We then moved onto the reception, and it was held at the cutest little school house in Lamar Wisconsin. Definitely gave me pioneer vibes but it was all so cute. The large windows were absolutely beautiful and let is so much gorgeous lighting. The rest of the evening was super chill and I got to do what I do best, capture candid moments & be a fly on the wall.

But oh my goodness, can we talk about this sunset please?!? SO GORGEOUS! I was nervous we were going to miss it, but we got to Interstate State Park just in time for the most beautiful golden hour and we captured some of my favorite images of the year. The fall colors were absolutely gorgeous, and of course it’s one of my favorite local places to shoot, because, well look at that backdrop! So stunning.
