NOW BOOKING 2026 & 2027 WEDDINGS

There are SO many incredible venues here in the state of Minnesota that just take my breath away. As a photographer, lighting is incredibly important on a wedding day and not something that a lot of people consider when choosing the place they’ll say “I do.” You not only want a space that fits your vision and vibe of your dream wedding, you also was a place that has ample natural lighting to be able to photograph you in the best way possible.
Today, we’re going to go over some of my favorite venues to photograph in so you can see a photographer’s perspective on what to look for!

White & Sable

First up, we have a newer venue, White & Sable. As soon as I pulled up to this venue, my jaw dropped. I knew it was going to be a good day. Every square inch of this venue is thought out. Every space has a purpose and the floorplan flows nicely. While the property is not huge, it’s woodsy backdrop is gorgeous and makes for the most gorgeous photos. Every square inch of this place is photogenic and would be the perfect blank canvas to design the wedding of your dreams. There’s a ton of natural light and the bridal suite is huge! There’s also even a mini arcade in the grooms suite which, come on, who wouldn’t love that. Overall, White & Sable is a favorite of mine and I can’t wait to go back!

Pinewood

Next up, a tried and true fan favorite, and a favorite of many photographers as well is Pinewood. The pine backdrop for the outdoor ceremony is unlike any other in the twin cities area. The perfect balance of woodsy and modern elegance. They also have a nice indoor option too for when the weather is not co-operating, and a nice main ballroom to host your dinner. Everything about Pinewood showcases luxury with an outdoor charm, perfect for the outdoorsy yet classy Minnesota couple. Is Pinewood on your list of must see venues? It should be!

Ashery Lane

I mean, do I even need to say anything or do the photos speak for themselves? As far as I know, there are no other venues in Minnesota that come close to the charm and feng shui that Ashery Lane has. It’s grand, its beautiful, it’s luxury. Ashery Lane is a stunning rustic venue with a apple orchard, vineyard, and upscale barn with so much charm and class. If you’re looking for upscale organic rustic chic, Ashley Lane is the venue for you.

Aquestria West at Bavaria Downs

Another venue where my jaw dropped driving up to. This venue is large, stunning and is build to impress. It is made to hold a lot of people, so if you’re wanting a smaller wedding with not a ton of guests, this one may not be right for you. But if you’re planning a ful on party with all of your favorite people in the world, Aquestria West can hold you all ;) . And of course, it is the home of the Love Is Blind season 8 weddings where Taylor & Daniel said “I do!”.

Hutton House

I feel like the Hutton House is a staple venue in the twin cities area. It’s classy, modern and every room is absolutely beautiful. You can’t go wrong with booking your wedding here. It’s white walls and modern charm make for the perfect canvas to create the wedding of your dreams. There is a ton of natural light and the getting ready suites make for the perfect way to start your wedding day.

Some honorable mentions of venues I have not had the pleasure of photographing yet, but would LOVE to are Ivy Black in Duluth, Catalyst at Nature Link in Nisswa, The Lowlands, Bavaria Downs, Woodland Glasshaus, Woods & Co in Pepin Wisconsin. Which venues did I miss? There are SO many incredible venues in the twin cities area, it’s so hard to name them all!
