Nicole & Dan’s day was the definition of an intimate backyard wedding done their way. They said “I do” at the home they bought together and have been lovingly renovating themselves in Anoka, Minnesota, how sweet is that?! Their ceremony took place in the backyard overlooking the river, and it felt cozy, personal, and full of meaning. And yes, their adorable pup Nala absolutely stole the show by walking Nicole down the aisle like the goodest girl she is.
The celebration continued in the front yard, proving that rules are optional when you’re doing things with heart. A seriously awesome food truck rolled in to feed everyone, keeping the vibe relaxed and fun, while a talented friend handled all the desserts (homemade desserts always win). Laughter was constant, the energy was light, and the whole day felt more like the best backyard party ever than a traditional wedding.
Nicole’s personality shined through every moment fun, goofy, and completely unapologetic. For the reception, she changed into the most incredible funky sequin jumpsuit, and honestly, it was iconic. This day was full of joy, color, and personality, and as a Minneapolis Photographer, these are the kinds of weddings I live for real, joyful, and wildly unforgettable.
