My favorite place to photograph engagement photos are places that are important to the couple. In this case, Prentice’s parents house. I always encourage my couples to pick a place that has important sentiment to who you are as a couple and holds a place in your story. This beautiful lot of land on the lake was a no brainer for Katie and Prentice as well, 1) it’s freaking stunning, 2) It’s secluded and 3) Prentice proposed to Katie here, which makes it the most perfect and romantic spot for them. This was also the place Katie and Prentice ended up getting ready at for their wedding day.
