When Kristen first contacted me I was super excited. I got to photograph her good friend, and bridesmaid, Abby’s wedding back in July (click here to see). It’s so much fun being able to reconnect with past brides & grooms at other weddings.
As my last wedding of 2018, I knew it was going to be a good one. From the burnt orange bridesmaids dresses to the handmade decoration, every little detail set the tone for the whole day. All I think about when thinking back to this day is Love & Joy. So much of those two things happened throughout the day, it was non-stop. Having only the people there who are closest to them and are committed to supporting their marriage made the day all the better. You could feel how excited everyone was for them. There’s nothing like The bridal suite was a dream, the perfect place for Kristen and her girls to get ready as they overlook the lake.
The wedding took place at Camp JIM, a Christian summer camp that Jeremy grew up going to. As soon as Kristen saw the chapel, she was hooked. They walked the land and knew this is the place that they would start their forever. It was the perfect setting for their rustic fall wedding, they really couldn’t have picked a better place to get married.

How lovely is it that they got married at Camp JIM where Jeremy already had such great memories! It’s amazing that they got to create new memories at that same spot together. You have captured such a great story of the day!

What a perfect location for them! So cool her grew up going to that camp. My favorite ones were the bride and groom on the benches. So many creative shots! I love the Minnesota camp vibes with her flannel over her dress. And those burnt orange dresses were stunning!

oh my gosh, talk boca to me! That photo is gorgeous! did you bring the lights or were they there? or added in post? SO GOOD! Also, I def thought this was camp st croix for the hottest of seconds.
